Hi Leo Folks,
I am Myles de Leon, a PortabLeo from Germany. I've been traveling around the world and recently went to Spring Break in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I met this incredible kindred spirit (with hot feathers) named Sandee. We think this may be true love and are looking for the perfect place to live and raise our puppies. Germany? The U.S.? The U.K.? We have not seen them all.
We met a full-size Leo named Otis who told us to post on the LeoList and ask for suggestions. Otis Hills is brave and smart and said that all of you are true friends of Leonbergers and always willing to help.
Sandee and I are different from Otis and your own Leos. We are approximately 4 inches high with the same fur coat, but, we never need to eat or visit the vet.
Sandee and I are going to travel separately to cover more ground. In each place we visit, we will have our photo taken and write a paragraph about what we did and whether we like the area. When we get back together, we will share our experiences and choose our forever home.
We each have a little suitcase that we travel in via Priority Mail. All we need are hosts. We would like to stay in each place for 10-14 days so we can have our photo taken while we are doing or visiting something special. It's even nicer for me if you have a Leo to pal around with me, but not a criteria.
I leave today for Maine (ME) and Sandee leaves soon for Louisiana (LA). We'll miss each other terribly. I look forward to staying with Karen Knox and her very gracious family in Maine. I will check the Leos In Need Rescue website often to keep up with who is going to host us in their homes and we will both post our travel diary entries there. Be sure to bookmark the page.
Please offer to host us at your house and show us around.
I’ll write from Maine.
HundWoof,
Myles

Hi Everyone,
I'm Sandee Sue Leobridgetta. I know my boyfriend Myles told you our story. Myles is so HOT. We met on the beach, and I just knew he had to be mine.
He has the sexiest, dark brown eyes, and, boy, you should see the size of his mane. ;-) Like I said, Myles is HOT.
So anyway, I'm heading off to L.A. The first person that is hosting me is Linda Gagnon. She thinks that L.A. will be just the right place for Myles and me to settle down and be a couple. She says that after just one taste of the Cajun seafood, I will be never leave there. I have been to sooooo many L.A. restaurants – mainly to spot famous Hollywood insiders – and I do not remember the scene as particularly Cajun. Whatever. Maybe Linda knows a part of L.A. that I don’t. (I was born and raised in Los Angeles, but sometimes I do tend to only pay attention to things that affect only me)
So, I have a lot of getting ready to do. I gotta get my toes done 'cause a girl can't risk running into Ben Afflect without bright, red toenails. And, I need to get my fur done to get all the Florida saltwater and sand out of it so I am all glossy and shiny... and oh, am I getting excited!
I wish I could find my zebra-print collar. It never wrinkles, dries quickly and looks so cute on me. I don't know what to pack for such a long trip to so many different places! Typically, I'm never far from a Nordstrom's -- but who knows where this trip will take me
Wherever I go, they better have cell service. I've gotta text my Myles, ya know...
TTFN,
Sandee

Sandee packing her bags to take off for Louisiana . It took her a little longer because of course she had to go shopping first. Sandee rates the Ft. Lauderdale Malls with an A+ |

One last hug before they leave. Will true love prevail? Will Sandee get lost along the way? Will Myles' parents approve of the couple? Only time will "tail."
